ASD closure was June 2018, and I ran my first half-marathon February 2021 with ease. I took it slowly but managed to run the whole way, with the exception of hydration breaks. It was only at the 19km point that it officially got <em>hard<\/em>. I&#8217;m so proud of myself, and so grateful for my cardiologists&#8217; care, so that I could actually accomplish this goal!<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Heart Month everyone!
